A COLLISION has reportedly taken place between a lorry and car in Monmouth.

The incident is said to have taken place on the A40 southbound between the A466 Monmouth traffic lights and the Gibraltar Tunnels on the B4293.

Traffic has been moving slowly and one lane has been closed because of the collision.

Motorists should anticipate heavy, queuing traffic in the area.

Both Severn Bridges are open to all traffic this morning.
