UPDATE 8.20am: The A40 in Monmouth is busy.There is some congestion but traffic is moving westbound at Monmouth Traffic Lights.TRAFFIC on Monmouthshire’s roads is running smoothly this morning.

There are delays on the M4 eastbound near Newport between junctions 27 and 26.

Both Severn Crossings are currently open.
