MADAM,

Please, Monmouth Town Council, give your backing to moving the playground over to the other side of Chippenham.

Where it is now is not a good place, many parents won’t take their children there at all because of the noise and the fumes from the A40 and in any case it is so out of the way.

Playing outdoors is one of the keys to a happy and healthy childhood and the Welsh Government’s Well-being of Future Generations Act 2015 says that we should do all we can to make that happen. Let’s do so in Monmouth.
