MADAM,

Can I please, through your pages, say a big thank you to all those people who, in spite of the atrocious weather over the weekend, came along to support my Afternoon Tea event in Usk in aid of the Breast Cancer Care charity.

A jolly crowd of 45 people spent Sunday afternoon in the Centenary Hall enjoying an array of my homemade cakes, sandwiches and savouries.

We raised a total of £300 which will give the charity a good boost.

Thank you to everyone for your help.
