MADAM

I am the lady who collapsed in Prego on Friday evening, and I’d like to apologise to all the customers around for disturbing their evening.

But I’d also like to say how helpful, kind and understanding Steve and the staff were.  The ambulance they called arrived within five minutes, I understand, and the ambulance crew, George and Amanda, took excellent care of me.

Likewise the doctors and nurses in A&E were wonderful, as are the staff in the CCU at Neville Hall, where I still am.

At a time when the NHS is so often criticised, I’d like to rectify the balance by saying that my experience of their care has been extremely good, and thank you to all of them.
