MADAM,

I would like to pay tribute to the skill of the emergency services as they attended to me following a recent fall.

Thanks to the response of neighbours, paramedics and the on-call doctor who completed the referral at 3.30am on New Year’s Day, I was able to recover at home.

Particularly I am grateful to Darren Cleaves and members of the fire crew for their help and encouragement.
