THOUSANDS enjoyed the annual Hoggin’ the Bridge event in Chepstow on Sunday.

Leather-clad bikers from across the country were treated to stalls, food outlets, live music and a ride in bike show.

Beginning at 11am, the parade ride started from by Severn View services before following a route through several local towns and villages, finishing at Chepstow Race Course.

The Hoggin’ the Bridge ride finished with a parade of bikes right through the very heart of the race-course, giving all the riders a chance to show off their finery and giving all spectators a chance to see a great spectacle.

This year’s race has raised funds for Meningitis Now, South Wales Air Ambulance, National Association for Bikers with a Disability, Freewheelers Blood Bikes, St David’s and St Anne’s Hospice, St Johns Ambulance, Chepstow Street Pastors, SGH Trust, Kyoshin Shotokan Karate Club, Hobbit’s Hole Group and RP Fighting Blindness.

Last year the event raised £15,000 for charity.
