MADAM,
I would like to respond to Mr Adrian Powdrill’s letter regarding cyclists riding on the pavement. (‘Cyclists should show consideration’ 6th January.)
Living in St Mary’s Street we have the problem of cars driving on the pavement because of the number of cars completely obstructing the pavement, these cars are also parked on yellow lines.
There is the same problem on Priory Street with cars, lorries and buses driving on the pavement because of the number of cars illegally parking outside the Iceland store, now even more so with traffic backing up from the ‘pinch point’.
