THE Dell Primary School celebrated St David’s Day in style yesterday (1st March) with traditional costumes and two Eisteddfod assemblies.

The infant and junior schools gathered to receive prizes for art, drama, poetry and more.

Later in the day, the pupils were joined by Chepstow Male Voice Choir who played a special concert for the children.

Meanwhile, staff and residents at Bethany Care Home, Chepstow celebrated St David’s Day by dressing up in Welsh costumes.

Everyone enjoyed a full day of Welsh activities, Welsh cakes and talks about Welsh related themes.
