SIR, I am a resident of St Vincent's Drive and watched with interest the new sign being put up on the entrance this week. I think it is probably the biggest road sign I have ever seen but more to the point, St Vincent's should have an apostrophe between the T and the S, which it doesn't (the previous sign did). Also, Harfleur Court is shown as Harfleur Close! It's a great pity that this sign will now have to be re-made at great expense when there doesn't seem to be money to fill pot holes around the town although several men in a lorry can spend hours painting white arrows on Cinderhill Street which are already visible. If the council are looking for a proof reader, I will gladly put my name forward, as a mother who is teaching her six-year-old correct grammar and attention to detail!  (Name and address supplied)
