A SCHOOL bus carrying 11 pupils to Rogiet Primary School was involved in a crash last Thursday (16th July).

The coach was one of the vehicles in the road traffic collision in the Caerwent area at around 8.30am, travelling en route to the school.

No injuries have been reported at the time of going to press and all 11 pupils on board were seated and belted during the incident which saw two vehicles suffer light damage.

All pupils were transferred to a contingency vehicle which continued the school service.

School staff conducted an assessment to see whether any further medical follow-up was needed.
