THOUSANDS of music fans flocked to Caldicot Castle on Saturday night (6th August) when the legendary band Status Quo came to town.
The Quo, known for hit singles including Down Down, Caroline and Rockin’ All Over The World, are one of the most successful bands of all time in the UK.
They have more chart entries than any other act, and have won a Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music.
The band are celebrating half a century in the music business, and their last ‘electric’ tour will also see them travel to Barcelona, Vienna and Berlin.
The band were supported by Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, famous for hit songs Make Me Smile, Judy Teen and Mr Soft, and Caldicot-based band The Bug Club.
The band, consisting of three former Caldicot School pupils, formed in 2014.
