A LUCKY lottery winner has won more than £6,000 in May by taking part in the Monmouth RFC Lottery.

The lucky ticket was sold at The Royal Oak on the Hereford Road in Monmouth – the winner wishes to remain anonymous.

Over the course of the last 12 months, the Monmouth RFC Lottery has paid out more than £12,000 in prize money with two huge payments of £4,000 and £6,000 respectively.

Lottery tickets can be obtained via the Rugby Club, The Royal Oak, Kings Fee Spar, The Somerset Arms, Bargain Booze, The Green Dragon, Car Care, Paws Pet Shop and McColls.
