MONMOUTH Assembly Member, Nick Ramsay visited Sudbrook Community Council on Tuesday on the latest leg of his “Save Monmouthshire” tour.
Speaking after the meeting, he said: “As expected, there was a great deal of support for the campaign and it was clear there was no appetite for the Welsh Government’s proposals to abolish Monmouthshire and return to a Gwent style authority.
“I will continue to campaign to save the county, which has a unique identity, and am looking forward to taking the petition to Monmouthshire high streets and villages over the coming months.”
