A PUBLIC exhibition is to be held ahead of a proposed residential development in Caldicot.

The consultation is regarding a development on land east of Church Road.

Alfie Yeatman, Senior Planner at HGH Planning, said: “The proposals are at an early stage but are intended to complete the northeastern edge of Caldicot with high-quality housing development and a large new community park.

“The purpose of the public exhibition on 27rd February is to seek the views of local residents, which will help our master planners prepare a scheme that works for the community, whilst making a meaningful contribution towards the county’s need for new housing.”

A draft plan will be presented at the public exhibition, which will be held at St Mary’s Church Hall, Llanthony Close, Caldicot.
