THE M48 old Severn Bridge will be closed eastbound tonight (4th July) from 8pm.

The full carriageway travelling towards Bristol will be closed for maintenance between 8pm tonight and 6am tomorrow, and the same times will affect a closure next Wednesday 11th July.

A diversion will direct traffic to Magor and over the M4 Second Severn Crossing, recently renamed the Prince of Wales bridge.
