A MONMOUTH family are celebrating after a second relative passed out of the Royal Marines.

Jeremy Pritchard, 27, was joined by his nearest and dearest on Friday 23rd October for his pass-out parade at Lympstone Devon.

The former Monmouth Comprehensive School pupil had to undergo eight months intensive training before passing out and is now officially a Royal Marine Commando.

His younger brother William Pritchard passed out five years ago at the age of 16.

Their mother Jacky Goodall said: “I’m very proud of both my sons. I’m now a double royal mum!”

A passing-out parade is the chance for family and friends to watch their loved ones take a successful step into a new career.
