REDBROOK is gearing up for hundreds of visitors to its eighth annual Live on The Wye music festival.
It has grown in popularity over recent years and has developed a reputation for attracting original up and coming musicians from across Wales and the West.
Festival organisers say this year has the strongest line up yet with a talented and diverse range of original artists.
This is coupled with an arts and crafts market, locally sourced food and drink, and riverside camping.
Chairman Howard Hancock said: “This year’s festival promises to be the biggest and best yet.
“We are excited to be introducing a number of new features, including a larger second stage, in addition to all the other great things we are known for – fantastic music, a stunning riverside setting and top quality family entertainment.”
Live on the Wye kicks off on the evening of Friday 2nd June in the Tom Lord Marquee on the main festival field with three amazing acts - Welsh alt-rock hero’s ‘The Broadcasts’, the hypnotic ‘She, Robot’ and beguiling welsh folk due ‘Olion Byw’.
The Friday Fringe has built a reputation for being intimate and perfectly formed with a full real ale bar and hand made pizzas.
Because the event is fully under cover, the weather never dampens the atmosphere.
Proceedings on the Saturday kick off at 1pm with rousing choir performances before moving onto a packed line-up of eclectic music across two stages.
With a bigger second stage the festival now effectively have two main stages, presenting fourteen artists and ensuring the music never stops.
Headlining on The Valley Stage with scorching classic ska are Guns of Navarone.
Fellow headliners Fingertrap will bring infectious rock hoops and a stage presence that can only be experienced live.
Meanwhile, over on the Wye River stage the organisers welcome back The People and The Poet, one of the most exciting and inspiring bands in Wales today.
In the mix is exciting new talent in the form of Aeddan, Lila J and the lovely Welsh five-piece folk band Ofelia, while Maelog bring a Galician twist to traditional rousing Welsh folk.
Sprinkle in Latin jazz-fusion, Americana, country and blues, and there will be something for everyone.
For young festival-goers, the creative world of the Imaginarium tent returns for a second year.
Activities include Cosmic Dave’s drumming workshops, circus skills, arts and craft workshops, story telling, dressing up and inflatable fun in all shapes and sizes.
The food and drink at Live on the Wye is locally sourced and fairly priced – from the award-winning sausages and burgers of Hancocks Butchers, to the craft ales by Kingstone Brewery, near Tintern.
There will be an arts and crafts market showcasing quality wares by local artists.
Tickets cost £7 until 15th May, and will cost £10 afterwards and on the gate.

All proceeds go to the Redbrook Village Trust. Children aged 12 and under can enter free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Entry to the Imaginarium tent and inflatables will cost £4 for all day unlimited use.
