MADAM,

The temporary traffic lights at the bottom of Portal Road are causing unnecessary problems for drivers. It appears that the lights have been erected to provide a parking facility for the vans that are working on the new hotel.  Surely the hotel grounds are large enough to have their own car park or is it cheaper for the developer to inconvenience regular travellers?

There were also traffic lights between Gibraltar House and the council refuge facility which followed months of inconvenience by the old toll house at Mitchel Troy.
