Christmas Traditions was selected as the theme for this years’s parade by public vote and preparations are in full swing to make this exciting event a success. There will be free public workshops kicking off this weekend at Shire Hall on Saturday 16th from 10am to 4pm and Sunday 17th at Rockfield Park Community Centre from 1pm until 5pm.  There will be a further public workshop at Shire Hall on 30th November from 10am to 4pm. Anyone is welcome to come along to these free workshops and make a lantern - be it a simple star or a glorious angel with wings outstretched or any idea that takes your fancy.

Community groups and schools have already started making their lanterns. If you are part of a community group that would like to host their own workshop you can pick up free materials from the lantern parade group. Please let me know on [email protected] or via the Town Council office.
