MADAM,

Horrified is the least of my opinions concerning the changes thought up by the county council for not using the frontages of shops here in Monmouth.

Don’t they realise they will be killing Monmouth stone dead? This is why visitors come to our town. They love to see seating outside coffee shops and love seeing and enjoying books on sale and also seeing and selecting local fruit and vegetables.

Common sense should be used not some stupid ideas which won’t and can’t work. Just leave us alone please and let us continue to make this town a lovely place to live, shop or visit.
