The day provided plenty of entertainment for the whole family with activities and performances including a birds of prey and a reptile display, donkey rides, martial arts, performances from local groups Kreative Kidz and Powerhouse Dance and a very well-attended dinosaur show.
Aaron Reeks, director of Caldicot Town Team said the day could not have gone any better.
“It went really really well, it was a great success and bigger than last year. It is our third year now and it just keeps on growing every year.
“We had some businesses notice an increase in trade and we did notice people were spending a lot longer in town, there were people staying around for four hours or so.”
The day showed off some of the best Caldicot has to offer with local groups captivating those who made their way into the town.
Mr Reeks said: “We had loads of community groups on the day and had local people performing, the dinosaurs were also a highlight.
“We were really pleased with how it went this year and we’ll be holding it again next year.”
