GWENT Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward following a road traffic collision which occurred on the Severn Bridge Industrial Estate, Symondscliff Way, Caldicot at approximately 2.05pm on Monday 30th March.

The collision involved a blue Suzuki motorbike and a green Vauxhall Corsa.

The rider of the motorbike, a 37 year old local man, sustained injuries to his leg and torso and was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital for treatment, where he currently remains.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call 101 quoting log 257 30/03/15.
