MONMOUTH based action group iNeed are working alongside One Nation Charity to send a 40 foot container filled with vital supplies to refugee camps in Syria. The group calls for donations of basic supplies, and ask for volunteers to help the sorting and packing process. iNeed aim to send the container on its four week voyage in early November, leaving from their storage facility in Caldicot.
Supplies that can be donated are as follows. Tinned and dried foodstuffs, baby food, baby milk, nappies, wind-up torches, solar lights, wheel chairs, bandages, toiletries and winter clothing.
iNeed are also looking for local businesses with funding facilities for charitable or non-profit organisations to help with sponsorship.
To find out more about donations, to help fund the transport of the container, and for information on how to volunteer, visit iNeed’s Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/
