FUNDRAISING for two-and-a-half-year-old Imogen Ashwell-Lewis has passed the £30,000. The tot is on the home stretch in her quest to raise £40,000 for an operation to help her walk unaided. Imogen, from Portskewett, was born 11 weeks early and, as a result, suffers from spastic diplegia, a form of cerebral palsy. Residents of Monmouthshire have rallied behind the tot in her quest to raise funds. Car washes, fun days and zip wire challenges have all helped in raising valuable funds for brave Imogen. Catherine Ashwell-Rice said: "The operation will make a huge difference to Imogen's quality of life. I hope people can comprehend how important this is for Imogen." There will be a cake stall at Caerwent Annual Show this Saturday (16th August) to raise money for the tot from 10am to 4pm. A dinner and auction will also be held on Friday 26th September at the Celtic Manor to raise funds for Imogen.
