MADAM,

The images I’ve seen in the media of the refugee crisis breaks my heart.

We in Britain are so fortunate to live in a country where we feel safe. Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot? I would welcome you to this country; we are all brothers and sisters and human beings.

Imagine if the little three year old boy that washed up on the beach dead was your son, or nephew or younger brother.

So very, very sad.

We can take more desperate people into this country, we all need to take our fair share of immigrants to help them in their time of crisis. Peace be with you.
