MADAM,

Everyone I have spoken to over the last week has been appalled and sickened by the theft of the memorial bench from Dixton Churchyard. Thank goodness the bench has been found and can be returned to the rightful owners. Wanting to make a stance against this cruel act in Wyesham we had set up a donation box for people to contribute to a new bench. This will continue to help with the securing of the bench in the churchyard. Anyone who wishes to donate please come to the Pop-Up Café at St James Church Wyesham on Tuesday and Wednesday in August. A more despicable theft could not be imagined.
