The end of British Summer Time brings with it darker evenings – and you’ll probably notice it getting colder too. This is the time to get your home ready for the winter and Wales & West Utilities wants to remind people to carry out some simple checks to help keep their loved ones safe.

With more households likely to turn their heating on, we want to remind people that now is a good time to make sure all gas appliances are fitted and working correctly, that an audible carbon monoxide alarm is present in the home, and that the National Gas Emergency Number - 0800 111 999 – is stored in your phone.
