A sponsored head shave and leg wax has raised £500 for a Magor toddler.
Employees at the Ministry of Justice, Newport, rallied behind their colleague Rachael Atkins to raise money for her daughter; three-year-old Ruby.
Ruby has bilateral cerebral palsy meaning her ability to walk unaided is restricted.
£40,000 needs to be raised for Ruby to receive Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) treatment to enable her to walk.
Antony Atkins, father of Ruby, said: "We're overwhelmed at how many people want to support Ruby, whether that's taking part in a crazy event like this or simply just making a donation to help us reach our target.
"Rachael's work colleagues have already taken part in a tandem skydive and they have a number of other work based events planned over the next three months."
A car wash to raise money for Ruby is to be held on Sunday 23rd March on the main road in Magor.
A coffee morning at Rogiet church is also in the pipeline.
