MADAM, Once one election is over, there is another one around the corner. For us in Wales next year's Assembly election will be vitally important. For 16 years Labour has run Wales. Where are the improvements? We fall behind England in most service areas; health, education, economy. What has devolution done for Wales under Labour? It is unhealthy for any party to be in control at all levels of government with no end in sight. But that is what faces Wales. So, though we are all suffering from election fatigue we must put our minds and efforts into the struggle. I do not think it is being over dramatic to say we have just under a year to save Wales from continued decline. Bob Greenland (Wolvesnewton)
