THE grounds of Caldicot Castle became a temporary banquet last weekend as they hosted the Monmouthshire Food Festival.
Foodies flocked to the castle to enjoy a wide range of food and drink and a number of demonstrations from some of the region’s best chefs.
Clive Williams and Liam Whittle who grew up together in Monmouthshire and both went on to become award winning chefs gave talks.
Clive is now Head Chef of the Parkway Hotel in Cwmbran and holder of 2AA Rosettes and Liam is a top class development chef.
There was something for the children as well with Monmouthshire Youth Service hosting the children’s quarter.
And for those who could not fit in another bite of food, Guide Dogs Cymru provided another attraction with working dogs on hand to show the work they do.
