Along with some friends we held a rock and roll dance at Bridges Centre for a charity based in Newport called Dreams and Wishes.

They grant wishes for seriously ill children and we raised £1,445 on the night.

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported us and everyone who donated prizes and made donations.

Every year I say this is the last one, but when you can raise as much as we do for a great cause and have a great time doing it, I think ‘Keep on rockin’ as long as the band is willing.

What a band! Led by Kingsley Ward from the world-famous Rockfield Studios along with Dave Charles, Ray Martinez, Paul Martinez, Dave Watkins with vocalists Amanda Ward and Frankie Allan who shared the singing with members of the band.

They are a great group of guys and lady who put so much of their time into making it possible for us to raise lots of money for charities like Dreams and Wishes so we can help to make dreams come true for seriously ill children.

I can’t think of anything better and I can’t thank them enough.
