TWO men were airlifted from the National Diving and Activity Centre in Tidenham on Saturday, 14th March after they experienced problems diving to 27 metres.

Two air ambulances, one from the South Western Ambulance Service Trust and one from the Wiltshire Air Ambulance took the men in their early 40s to a decompression chamber at the Hyperbaric Centre, in Poole.

The helicopters landed at the Chepstow diving centre within minutes of each other and took 25 minutes to reach the Whitecliff Bay area in Poole where the men received specialist treatment.
