Peter Short’s letter concerning David Davies’ continuing scepticism about climate change brought to mind the Beacon of 6th November with the photograph of David standing forlornly with the poor folk flooded in Skenfrith.

Despite his looking sympathetically glum in the photo it is hard to understand his attitude to the evidence and to the opinions of scientists around the world, unless of course his statements of years ago have made it impossible for him to change his stance. It causes me to wonder if David ever considers the possibility that the scientists might just be right and that David Davies might just be wrong.
