STUDENTS from the Caroline Graham School of Dance passed their ISTD Ballet and/or Modern examinations at the end of last term with exceptional marks.

All 50 students showed their hard work and commitment on the day and at practices leading up to their examinations.

Principal and teacher Caroline Graham said: "I am again incredibly proud of the students and so pleased they achieved the excellent marks they deserved.

"Thank you to teacher Becky Florey and all the teaching assistants who were involved in these exams."

This latest set of results continues the school's 100 per cent pass rate and 98 per cent Merit or Distinction rate across the past six exam sessions.

It's been an exciting year for the school which has expanded from its original Mathern village base and now also offers a range of classes in both Caldicot and Bulwark.

In addition the school has been awarded recognised school status with the Council of Dance Education and Training.

Next year promises more excitement for the students as the school will be preparing for their first full show production.
