GWENT Police are appealing for information following a robbery that occurred on Bank Street, Chepstow at around 11.15pm on Saturday 14th March.

A 29 year old man was walking along the road when he was approached by approximately three men. He was assaulted, and had money and his iPhone stolen. 

He sustained injuries to his face and hand which required treatment at Royal Gwent Hospital.  He has since been released.

Two men, aged 18, from Chepstow have been arrested on suspicion of robbery. They have since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
