Chepstow animal sanctuary the Dean Farm Trust have been shortlisted to win an incredible prize to help the animals in their care.

Dean Farm Trust are among the top 10 organisations chosen to be in The Great Mudcontrol Charity Giveaway!

Mudcontrol is a British company which makes mud control mats and they are giving away an amazing 35 square metres of mats in this charity competition.

Dean Farm Trust were shortlisted after receiving hundreds of nominations and now need your help to win this incredible prize.

Charity founder, Mary Frankland, says: “We’d love to win these mats as we’re planning to hardcore a third of a paddock for our donkeys, to help protect their feet in the winter.

’’The cold, rain and mud causes lots of problems for their hooves, but they don’t like to be inside!

’’With their shelters and this amazing prize of 35 square metres of mud slabs, our six donkey friends could stay out all year round.

“The coronavirus pandemic has hit us in many ways and has delayed this vital work. These amazing Mudcontrol slabs would be the perfect solution!.’’Voting closes on August 30, 2020.

Dean Farm Trust is a home for life to 180 rescued residents, including six donkeys and 13 ponies who would all benefit from these mats.
