A MOTORCYCLIST has suffered minor injuries after a collision with a car in Chepstow this morning.

At approximately 7.15am this morning, police received reports of an road traffic collision on the A446 Wye Valley link road in Chepstow.

A motorcycle and a car had collided and the driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure. The injuries to the rider are thought to be minor.

One lane of the southbound A466 is currently closed, and there is slow traffic in the area because of the incident.
