Tenovus Cancer Care, Wales’ leading cancer charity, is hosting an online musical treat, packed full of Welsh talent.
On Thursday, April 29, award-winning Welsh male choir, Only Men Aloud, will headline a special Spring Concert to help raise vital funds for cancer patients and their loved ones across Wales.
Only Men Aloud have been delighting audiences around the world for over twenty years and have put together a special performance for the event. The evening will also feature solo performances from members Craig Yates and Steffan Hughes.
Craig Yates, Only Men Aloud, said: “We’re happy to be able to help the charity raise money so it can continue to support cancer patients in communities across the country.
“We know how much cancer patients value the services the charity provides and keeping those services going during the coronavirus crisis and beyond is very important.
“We’d love as many people as possible to join us on Thursday 29th April so we can have some fun and raise as much money as possible for this wonderful charity.”
Internationally renowned harpist and composer and Tenovus Cancer Care patron, Catrin Finch, will be playing a harp piece just for the occasion.
BBC Wales journalist and fellow Tenovus Cancer Care patron, Carl Edwards, will be hosting the evening.
There will also be performances from Pontnewydd Male Voice Choir, Cor Heol y March, Welsh multi-instrumentalist Andrew Bowsher and an exclusive performance from Tenovus Cancer Care’s virtual Sing with Us choir.
