A CALDICOT man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Christmas Day.

49-year-old David Evans was killed on the M4 in an incident between junctions 24 (the Coldra) and 25 (Caerleon) at around 6pm.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motorway was closed for around eight hours while investigations were carried out.

Gwent Police is appealing for witnesses to the crash. If you have any information, call 101 quoting log number 250 – 25/12/15.

Mr Evans was riding a Honda bike.
