CALDICOT Male Voice Choir and Ysgol Gymraeg y Ffin spread some Christmas cheer last Thursday (11th December) at their carol concert.

Their performance to around 200 people was to raise money for Ysgol Gymraeg y Ffin's Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

Among a packed set, the choir sang: Christmas words for you sung to the tune of the Welsh hymn Llanfair, Silver Bells, Joy to the World including a Russian tune called Casatschok.

The total amount raised was still being counted as the Beacon went to press.
