THE annual fireworks spectacular at Caldicot Castle takes place on Sunday 2nd November.
Organised by community groups and residents and led by Monmouthshire County Council, the event is expected to attract more than 6,000 people to the picturesque castle and country park.
This year's event is set to feature fun for all the family, including a fairground, children's rides, a licensed bar, food stalls, and appearances by Peppa Pig and her friends. Rusty Shackle, supported by Henry Jones, will perform live music.
Abbie Cheeseman, one of the organisers, said: "Yet again, we have another bumper evening of entertainment planned for all the family, topped with an incredible fireworks show that will light up the skies for miles around.
"While we all hope it remains dry on the day, I'm sure nothing will be able to dampen people's spirits given the attractions on offer. Caldicot Castle and Country Park is a wonderful setting for this annual event, which promises to thrill and entertain in equal measure. And, don't forget, just because fire-eaters will be entertaining the crowds, doesn't mean visitors shouldn't wrap up warm!"
The gates open at 4.30pm, with the display starting at 6pm. Food and drink cannot be taken into the event, but refreshments will be available inside. Free parking is also available.
Tickets for £3 can be purchased on the gate, with free entry for children under seven. A family ticket for two adults and two children costs £10.
