Bus Users Cmyru promoted September as Catch the Bus Month and as in 2022 The Friends of the 65 Bus were happy to add their support.

It is important to get passengers on board and spread the message that buses are good for the environment, good for mental health, good for the community and provide vital support for rural populations.

It was great to see new passengers travelling on the 65 during September and it is hoped this will continue. F65B met with Barclay Davies and Laurie Pitt of Bus Users Cmyru and outlined the progress that Monmouthshire County Council and Friends of the 65 bus have made in the past 12 months in providing a reliable and regular service between Monmouth and Chepstow. At a time when there is pressure on funding it cannot be underestimated how important it is to support our local bus services. Regular and new passengers are always welcome on the 65.
