A NINE-YEAR-OLD from Bulwark has walked across the Severn Bridge and back to raise £2,100 for charity.
On Easter Day, while most children were busy scoffing chocolate, Noah was lacing up his trainers to take part in his challenge, accompanied by parents Nigel and Shelley Herniman.
Noah's chosen charity was Sparkle, the charity of Serennu Children's Centre in Newport.
The nine-year-old is receiving physiotherapy at the centre for neurofibromatosis and wanted to give something back to Serennu.
In the past Noah has raised £100 for the charity by making and selling loom bands.
Noah said he felt very proud of his achievement and would like to do something else to raise money for the charity.
When asked about the phenomenal amount of money he raised, Noah said he thought it was "cool".
Lisa Pearson, business development manager at Sparkle, said: "On behalf of everyone at Sparkle I would like to congratulate Noah on completing his walk across the Severn Bridge.
"We understand that he has raised £2,000 which is an amazing amount of money for anyone to raise.
"As Sparkle relies totally on fundraising, donations and grants awarded, this money helps us continue to offer opportunities to our children with disabilities and developmental issues.
"Many thanks to Noah and his family for their ongoing support."
