AN APPEAL has been launched to help locate a Monmouth man who hasn’t been seen since Saturday.

Gwent Police are appealing for information to help find 46 year old Liam Stubbs from Monmouth.

A youth coach with Monmouth Cricket Club and teaching assistant at Monmouth Comprehensive School, Liam is described as being approximately 5ft 9, of stocky build, with dark hair and glasses.

He was last seen in WH Smiths in Monmouth at around 1pm on Saturday 19th November. He hasn’t been seen since and officers are concerned for his safety.

He was last seen wearing a dark jacket, a striped shirt and trousers.  

Severn Area Rescue Association were involved in a search on the River Monnow and River Wye on Sunday afternoon, which a police spokesperson confirmed was in relation to the search for Mr Stubbs.
