In last weeks letters you published opinions from an anonymous source under your headline: ‘All should be treated with respect’.

We cannot know who was this correspondent who attacked a hard-working, well respected campaigner for Monmouth’s heritage. It was a disgraceful addition to the letters page and deserves a personal apology.
