A WELSH Air Ambulance supported two land-based ambulances in a call to the Monmouth Skatepark on bank holiday Monday, 26th August.
A young man had fallen and emergency services were called following concern for his injuries.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service, south-east region said: “We responded with one rapid response vehicle and one ambulance and we were supported by a Wales Air Ambulance Dafen-based helicopter.
Following treatment from the air ambulance medics, a patient was then airlifted to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
The helicopter left the scene at 7.20pm and arrived at hospital at 7.31pm
