SIR, 2015 is the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt, won by Henry V who was born at Monmouth Castle and who is immortalised in Shakespeare's Henry V. I have the honour of being Gwent's High Sheriff-in-nomination for 2015 and together with Sue Miles from the Monmouth Nelson Museum wish to invite anyone who would like to contribute to a Monmouth celebration of Agincourt 600 to a meeting in the museum at 6pm on Friday 13th March. Some Agincourt 600 celebrations are planned in Brecon and Abergavenny. So far in Monmouth, events include a charity showing of Olivier's masterpiece film Henry V at the Savoy Cinema on Saturday 19th September and a special St Crispin Day's service at St Mary's Priory Church on Sunday 25th October. The meeting at the museum on Friday 13th March will provide an opportunity for other celebratory Agincourt ideas to be aired and discussed. Andrew Tuggey (Monmouth)
