MADAM,

I am writing to publicly thank the staff and students of Monmouth School for Girls for the wonderful entertainment they provided for our Social Circles and Tea Dance members on the afternoon of Thursday 28th June.

This was part of the joint senior schools annual literary festival. They gave us a great show, interspersed with dances, all co-ordinated beautifully by Ann Brankley.

Osbaston School’s ’Tin Whistlers’ performed three songs for us too, a large group of boys and girls who played really well.

All the children from both schools joined in with the dances and afterwards we were served delicious home-made cakes and biscuits. A lot of staff came too and organised the teas and cakes. It was a joyous, exuberant afternoon.

We were also extremely grateful to the girls’ school for the donation of £800 to Social Circles which will be used to help contribute to Christmas lunches and presents.
