A THIRTY five-year-old man who died in a road collision near Magor in the early hours of yesterday morning has been named.

According to Gwent Police, the incident involving a motorcycle happened at approximately 1.45am yesterday (Tuesday 29th November) on the A4810 near to the Tesco Distribution Centre in Magor. No other vehicles were involved.

Robert William Freeman, from the Bristol area, was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital after the incident but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Specialist police officers are supporting Mr Freeman's family.
